It was the strong determination and the initiative of Mr. Sushil Ranjan Mukherjee and his wife M/S Manju Mukherjee that has succeeded their dreams into reality to become an entrepreneur in the year 1970. In the early destitution they not only felt the need of business but also wanted to create employment for some innumerable families who suffered by the time of division of India and Bangladesh.

They branded their product “ SOMA “, name of their first beloved daughter . ‘Kasundi ‘ a traditional mustard prickle was their first commercialized product. It is well known now among many products across India .
